Final starting grid Dutch GP | Verstappen P1, Magnussen from pit lane
The starting grid for the Dutch Grand Prix is official. Max Verstappen will start his home race from the first starting position for the third time in a row. As in Britain, Lando Norris will start on the front row alongside the Dutchman. At Silverstone, the Briton passed Verstappen right at the start. Will that happen again?
Verstappen on pole in the Netherlands
Verstappen will start a race from pole position for the eighth time this season. George Russell has his best qualifying since the Australian Grand Prix with his third starting position. Behind Russell, Alexander Albon will start. The Thai-British did a great job in qualifying and squeezed everything out of his Williams. Sergio Perez struggled on Saturday at Zandvoort and starts from seventh position.
Penalty for Tsunoda, Magnussen from pit lane
Yuki Tsunoda qualified 14th for the Dutch Grand Prix but will have to start from P17. The AlphaTauri driver received a three-place grid penalty for obstructing Lewis Hamilton in qualifying. The seven-time world champion was already eliminated in Q2. Kevin Magnussen will start the Dutch Grand Prix from the pit lane. The Dane replaced a lot of engine parts and violated the parc fermé rules.
