Perez asks Sainz about his defending: 'You were moving late, right?'

Sergio Perez finished the race at Monza in second place. The Mexican did have to work hard to do so. Carlos Sainz was driving for the Ferrari fans, the tifosi, and wanted to get the best possible result. To do so, he pulled out all the stops. In the cooldown room, Perez addressed his Spanish colleague on his defensive actions.
Things got tough during Sainz's battles, and not only during the fight with Perez. Teammate Charles Leclerc also fought hard with the Spaniard, trying to secure the last spot on the podium. In the end, Sainz managed to come out on top, marking his first time on the podium at the track where Ferrari is so popular.
Perez addresses Sainz after Italian GP
Perez was not entirely happy with the Ferrari driver's actions. In the cooldown room, the Red Bull driver asked about his colleague's actions: "You were move late, right?" Sainz replied: "I was moving late, but on time, Checo. I moved a little bit, but not in the braking point. And the rule tells in the braking point."
