WEC results | Toyota crowned champions with a one-two

The 6 Hours of Fuji in the World Endurance Championship(WEC) turned out to be a triumph for Toyota in the Hypercar class. Both Toyotas finished in the top two, giving the team the constructors' championship. The team of Kamui Kobayashi, Jose Maria Lopez and Mike Conway thus got to credit a victory in the championship.
Hypercar
So, in the Hypercar class, the #7 Toyota won, but the #8 Toyota of Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa also finished high: second place is theirs. Because of the first and second places, Toyota is now champion within the constructors. Ferrari could not keep Toyota off the first two spots. The #50 Ferrari finished fourth, and the #51 Ferrari fifth. The Porsche team of André Lotterer, Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor finished in third place.
LMP2
In LMP2, Robert Kubica, Louis Deletraz and Rui Andrade were able to celebrated. Team WRT's #41 car drove the most laps of the respective class. Team WRT's other car finished third. Dutchman Robin Frijns, Sean Gelael and Ferdinand Habsburg-Lothringen captured bronze. Silver went to the United Autosports formation with Frederick Lubin, Philip Hanson and Filipe Albuquerque.
LM GTE Am
The Corvette Racing team, with Catsbrug, already became champion in the LM GTE Am class, but failed to capitalise on the pole position at Fuji. The team was overtaken by Af Course and Kessel Racing, leaving Catsburg and co to settle for third place. View the results of all classes that raced at Fuji here.
