Red Bull Racing are on their way to becoming Constructors World Champions in 2023. During the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, Red Bull will get their first chance to win it for the sixth time. This is how Red Bull can get that job done at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Before the Grand Prix weekend in Singapore, Red Bull Racing have already scored 583 points. That's 310 more than their closest rivals, Mercedes. After the race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, there are only 353 points left to earn. So there's a chance Red Bull Racing can make it mathematically impossible for other teams to catch them.

How Red Bull can become world champions in Singapore

Red Bull must finish first and second in Singapore. That will take them to 626 points, which Mercedes can equal. However, equal is not enough for Mercedes, as Red Bull's number of wins is too large to surpass. The difference will only be big enough if Mercedes remain pointless in Singapore.

Only then will Red Bull Racing have a big enough margin to call themselves Champions again. Should Mercedes score one point, Red Bull can still become champions by picking up the bonus point for the fastest lap. If Mercedes scores two or more points, the title will roll on to next week's race in Japan.

Max Verstappen can't secure the title in Singapore. The gap with Sergio Perez is not yet big enough to be sure of the title after Singapore. Verstappen has the first chance of securing his third title in Japan.
