Debate | The arrival of Andretti Cadillac will benefit Formula 1
Andretti Cadillac has moved a step closer to having two cars on the Formula 1 grid for the 2025 season. The US team's application has been approved, meaning that only the FOM still has to consider the case of Michael Andretti's team. GPblog is curious to hear readers' opinions on the proposition about the constructor and if it benefits F1.
The question is: Does the arrival of Andretti Cadillac benefit Formula 1. The chances of Andretti Formula Racing being in Formula 1 from 2025 seem to be increasing. The constructor of American origin was told it meets the FIA's criteria. After years of lobbying, Michael Andretti's goal is almost achieved.
Possibly still bears on the road for Andretti Cadillac
The only thing that could still throw a spanner in the works is Formula One Management (FOM). There is still a chance that Andretti's formation will not enter Formula One. But Andretti is keeping its nerve, saying, "We look forward to engaging with all stakeholders in Formula One as we continue with our plans to enter as soon as possible."
