Norris' contract still runs for a while, until the end of 2025, yet the Briton from Bristol is often associated with the Austrian racing stable. Williams driver Albon talks about the situation Norris is currently in. He explains that Norris could probably go to Red Bull, should he want to.

Currently, Sergio Perez is driving the car alongside Max Verstappen, but he is receiving a huge amount of criticism over his underperformance in the king class of motorsport. McLaren drivers Norris and Oscar Piastri performed a lot better in the second half of the season than the first half and are often linked with new moves in their careers.

Albon on Norris situation

"I think if he wants it, yes," Albon told Sky Sports about Norris' possible move to Red Bull. "But let's see, because I think no one enjoys to be Max's team-mates. It's hard - I have experience with that. But if he's confident in himself, which he should be - from what I hear, the invitation has been open for a while," the Thai-British driver revealed.

"It's hard to say now, because just like I have with Williams, you can tell the relationship Lando has with McLaren is very strong, and for now it looks like there's no reason to change," concludes the Williams driver, who was Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull Racing in 2019 and 2020.
