Red Bull celebrates Verstappen: guard of honour for world champion
- GPblog.com
In various sports, it is the ultimate form of respect: a guard of honour for the new champion. In Formula 1, it has apparently caught on as well. The moment Verstappen walked onto the Losail International Circuit in the afternoon hours, all Red Bull Racing employees lined up in front of him in a guard of honour. To loud applause, the Dutchman made his way past his colleagues.

Verstappen starts the Qatar Grand Prix from pole. However, it was certainly not all party for Red Bull. Indeed, Sergio Perez had to start the race from the pit lane.
