F1 makes announcement for event: 'Fans from all over Europe will come'
Following the success of this year's Formula One exhibition in Madrid, F1 has announced that there will be another show in another city at the start of 2024. On 2 February 2024, the exhibition will come to the Austrian capital, Vienna. Vienna will have six designed venues of 3,000 square metres per section, in which the F1 exhibition will come.
Tickets for the exhibition at the Austrian main stand will go on pre-sale on Monday, 23 October. General ticket sales will start two weeks after the Formula 1 announcement, on Wednesday, 25 October.
Domenicali responds to F1 announcement
Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, is very enthusiastic about the idea: "Following the success of our first Formula 1 Exhibition in Madrid, we are incredibly excited to announce Vienna as the second host of the innovative show. Austria has a great history with Formula 1, so we are delighted to take this spectacle to the capital and provide fans in the country with another way of interacting and enjoying the sport’s rich history and heritage," the 58-year-old Italian revealed.
Timothy Harvey is the producer of the Formula 1 exhibition, and he explains, "We were thrilled and gratified by the level of success the exhibition received in Madrid. The ambition has always been to bring this one-of-a-kind show to as many people as possible, and so we’re excited to announce the next stop will be the dynamic city of Vienna. The Vienna exhibition will feature new displays and experiences for visitors."
