Ricciardo recovered: Australian in action for Red Bull Racing in US

Daniel Ricciardo appears to have recovered from his hand fracture and will step back into a Formula 1 car this weekend for the first time since his accident at Zandvoort. Red Bull Racing confirmed on Friday that the driver will make his 'comeback' with the Austrian team as early as this weekend.
Ricciardo had been rehabilitating from his hand fracture since early September, which forced the driver, on loan to AlphaTauri, to miss five Grands Prix. Liam Lawson was his replacement, Officially, the Italian team has not yet announced Ricciardo's comeback at the US Grand Prix in over a week's time.
Demonstration in Nashville by Ricciardo
However, it is expected that it won't be long to wait for that, especially now that Ricciardo and Red Bull itself have announced via Instagram that the veteran will get behind the wheel of an F1 car as early as next weekend. In the US city of Nashville, Ricciardo will give a demonstration on behalf of the Austrian squad. In the post, the Australian says he is looking forward to the demo run through the streets of Nashville.

Earlier in the day, Red Bull's social media team posted a remarkable Tweet in which Ricciardo played a leading role. With the post on X, the Austrians fuelled rumours that Ricciardo will at some point replace Sergio Perez as second driver alongside Max Verstappen.
