Verstappen wants Schumacher's F2004: 'Hope Ferrari read this'
Max Verstappen hopes to buy the Ferrari F2004, in which Michael Schumacher became champion, from the F1 team. The three-time F1 champion dreams of a large collection of racing cars and besides his own Red Bull Racing cars, Schumacher's apparently cannot be missed.
Verstappen wants to buy Schumacher's Ferrari, but how?
The Red Bull Racing driver said this in an exclusive interview with Sportweek, an edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian medium spoke to the Dutchman about the sport, but also asked him about his pursuits outside the sport. The conversation covered padel, Italian cuisine and household jobs. The most striking thing Verstappen said is that he would like to have a museum and his own collection of special racing cars.
Verstappen stated: "I would like to add all the Red Bull cars in which I became world champion to my collection. In addition, I would like to buy Michael Schumacher's Ferrari F2004. That's a really great car. I just have no idea how I could buy it." Verstappen hopes to reach Ferrari president John Elkann: "I just see this as a public appeal to Ferrari president Elkann. I hope he reads this interview and wants to give me a call sometime."
