US flag on Williams race car for US GP
Many Formula 1 teams bring special colours for the F1 race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Often, the theme is 'something American'. The British Williams team, owned by US investor Dorilton Capital, also has something different.
The team will come up with a special livery for the US race. The team said: "Williams Racing is excited to reveal its special livery for the United States Grand Prix, celebrating the team’s strong U.S. connections and the support of both new and existing partners. The livery features the U.S. Stars and Stripes flag on the engine cover."

Lots of flags
Williams are actually selling themselves short. There is more to see on the car. A large American flag has taken over the entire top of the car, with the stars just behind the air vent. The starting number has also been modified for Austin. The number is white, with a red and blue border. The rear of the FW45's rear spoiler also has a new look, themed with NFTs from sponsor Kraken.
Williams are currently seventh in the Formula 1 championship with 23 points. Sixth place seems out of reach, but Williams must be careful, as Alfa Romeo are in eighth place with 16 points. Could the new livery give Williams a boost in Texas...?
