Formula E test disrupted by fire in pitlane
- GPblog.com
Turmoil in the Formula E paddock. Nyck de Vries was just speaking at a press conference in a room at the Valencia circuit on Tuesday afternoon when the fire alarm went off. In many cases that means a false alarm, but not this time. Everyone had to leave the pit building immediately as there was a fire in the pitlane. Further details are still missing as teams, drivers and media are being kept at bay. They are all in a car park nearby.
Formula E says nothing is known about injuries. It is still unclear if and when the second part of the test session can be continued. Moreover, it is unclear whether the press conference can be resumed.
