Hurricane Otis has hit Mexico and created some questions about how the weather would be over this weekend at the Mexican Grand Prix. After a slight difference in conditions in FP1 and FP2, today's chance of rain should have cleared by the time qualifying has finished and our pole sitter for tomorrow is known.

Weather forecast for the Mexican Grand Prix

There will still be some clouds blocking the sunlight when FP3 starts at 11:30 and it is predicted to be 20c. There is a 0% chance of rain during this period and it should become sunny as the session continues on into the afternoon. The wind speed is at 5mph in a northeast direction. It is expected to be warmer for the qualifying action later on in the day, with it predicted to be 24c and the chance of rain increases slightly to 2%. The wind speed remains fairly consistent throughout the day.

A similar forecast is predicted for Sunday but, perhaps, it will be slightly warmer due to the increased amount of sunshine. The wind speed is predicted to remain consistent at 5-7mph whilst the race takes place.
