Another new addition Red Bull junior programme: Marko snares 19-year-old talent

Red Bull Racing's junior programme has gained another talent. Oliver Goethe will compete in the Austrian racing stable's colours in 2024. The 19-year-old Danish German will compete in Formula 3, as he did this year.
Goethe made a strong development this season and sees that rewarded with a Red Bull contract. The talented driver has already won a race in F3 and the aim is for him to be ready for Formula 2 by 2025.
Earlier this month, Red Bull Racing announced that Tim Tramnitz had joined the junior programme. This was offset by the departure of Ayumu Iwasa and Dennis Hauger. Zane Maloney and Enzo Fittipaldi - also racing in Formula 2 this year - also do not appear to be eligible for contract extensions.
Marko explains
Speaking about attracting Goethe and Tramnitz, Helmut Marko told F1-Insider: "We have included both of them because they have shown a lot of potential in their respective junior classes and we believe they will have the ability to make it in Formula One. That is the criterion why we include young drivers in the squad. Their development now will show how good they are and whether they can become champions one day."
