Sergio Perez took an important step towards securing his second place in the Formula 1 drivers' championship at the Grand Prix weekend in Brazil. The Red Bull Racing driver now has a 32-point lead over Lewis Hamilton with two races to go.
Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris both did good business by finishing on the podium behind Max Verstappen at Interlagos. Currently, Alonso is still narrowly ahead of the McLaren driver: the difference is just three points. Those who did not do good business were Hamilton. The Mercedes driver scored just six points over the whole weekend and is losing ground against his rival.
