Formula 1 constructor Haas' hearing has been postponed, the FIA reports. The hearing concerns review on the result of the US Grand Prix. In a document, the FIA reports that the hearing has been postponed, to "consider submissions". The two sides will meet again tomorrow, and a decision will most likely be given.

Red Bull and consorts still have to wait for outcome of Haas hearing

The reason Haas had to have a hearing with the FIA was because of the large amount of track limits exceeded. They were of the opinion that far too many competitors were colouring outside the lines during the race in America, which in turn could mean that the final result of the Grand Prix in Austin is up for grabs.

If Haas is found to be in the right and the stewards rule that penalties should be involved, this would result in a fair amount of time penalties. For example, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez alone would face as many as 18 five-second penalties in that case.

Haas team boss Steiner said earlier that he was confident about the outcome of the hearing, and that the result could therefore be changed quite easily.
