As the Formula 1 season comes to a close, there is a final sprint with many races in a row. After a triple-header, it is time for the Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend. While we have heard other drivers complain about jet lag, this is not a problem for Lewis Hamilton.

Strange session times

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is run very late locally. In fact, qualifying starts at 00:00, and the race starts at 22:00. With a time difference of 8 hours to England and 9 to Europe, you would think that fatigue and jet lag would play a role, but this does not apply to Hamilton himself as he indicates in the press conference.

"I personally have not found it a problem: still managed to keep the training up and I feel great at this point in the year." Hamilton says that he has heard other drivers complain about jet lag, but in response, he says that a much-needed schedule is part of the sport. "We know what a season entails and those three back-to-backs were definitely tough but if it was easy, everyone would do it."

According to him, the toughest part of the job is constantly moving around and being away from home. Still, he doesn't want to be anywhere else because he loves what he does.
