Usain Bolt, the fastest man on earth, was spotted in Las Vegas at the Grand Prix and made his thoughts very clear on who his favourite driver on the grid is. The seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is his favourite, but it stems from more than fandom, as the two are friends it seems.

Bolt told Sky Sports: "I’m always a Lewis fan because I know Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen is doing wonderful, he’s really coming out and showing the world, this season he’s outstanding, so hopefully next season Lewis will get back into it."

Bolt allowed to race on track in Las Vegas

Jamaican Bolt is currently in Las Vegas to watch the Grand Prix. Moreover, he was allowed to race around the street circuit in a race car between the third free practice and qualifying. That impressed the now-stopped athlete.

"The hot lap was wonderful, the speed was great, the G force was crazy, it was good. I think Vegas itself is such a big entertainment city. So to actually bring the Formula One here, it's just wonderful. It's just out of this world to know that it actually happened. We've heard about it for a while, so the fact it actually happened is beautiful," Bolt said.
