NFL team Denver Broncos calls 'Max Verstappen'
Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix after a spectacular Formula 1 race on Saturday night. At the Denver Broncos, of which Mercedes driver Hamilton is one of the owners, it clearly did not go unnoticed either. The team's quarterback, Russell Wilson, shouted "Let's go Max Verstappen!" as a cry of attack.
An audible is used in American football when the quarterback changes the play at the last minute due to the line-up of the defence. The so-called audible is used to instruct the rest of the team to line up differently than initially intended. Red Bull Racing appreciated the gesture and responded to the video: "We did the same thing in Vegas and it worked pretty well!"
