F2 champion Theo Pourchaire finds new home in Super Formula
- Ludo van Denderen
It is by no means a surprise, but now definite: Théo Pourchaire will race in Japanese Super Formula next season. After a successful test earlier this month, the Frenchman has been committed by Team Impul. With a temporary move to Japan, Sauber's test and reserve driver follows in the footsteps of Pierre Gasly and Liam Lawson, among others.
On X, the racing class announced earlier this Tuesday that Pourchaire has been committed:

Pourchaire looking forward to new adventure
Via his own social media, Pourchaire reveals that he is looking forward to his new adventure. The Frenchman says: "I am super happy to announce that I will be driving with Team Impul in Super Formula for the 2024 season. I would like to thank Team Impul, Toyota Gazoo Racing and, of course, my manager for making this possible. I already can't wait to be back in Japan and I can't wait to start this new journey, so see you soon!"
