According to Horner, this is where RB's Achilles heel lies

From afar, it's difficult to see weaknesses in Red Bull. According to team boss Christian Horner, things are indeed different. In an interview with Sky Sports, the Brit tells where the team's Achilles heel lies.

"When he [Verstappen] won the championship with still five or six races to go, he didn't want to leave anything on the table and indeed he won every single race thereafter. He just pushed all the way to that final flag in Abu Dhabi. There's always marginal gains. There's always things that we can improve in all aspects of the car, of how we operate, of strategy, delivery, of efficiency. So they're all things that we have to look inwardly. Because if you rest on your laurels in this business, then you're going backwards," Horner said.

Red Bull does not brag

So the team's motivation lies in that mentality: "I think it's that motivation, it's that desire. We’ve created this kind of result, but again, it's not allowing complacency to set in. Because we know if anything has motivated our competitors, it's the kind of results that we've achieved this year". Horner earlier explained what Red Bull managed to improve on this year, saying they managed to take over 20 kilos off the car. Which was the main modification for the RB19.
