Red Bull Racing currently dominates Formula 1, but Max Verstappen's team are fourth on the list of teams with most wins. There is still a long way to go for Red Bull to chase first place. Find out which teams have the most wins in Formula 1 here.

Tyrell

Tyrell is the team in 10th. Founded by Ken Tyrell, the British team drove their first Grand Prix in 1970. The team was active at 430 Grands Prix, until the 1998 GP of Japan. Tyrell won a world title as a constructor in 1971 and won the world drivers' title in 1971 and 1973 with Sir Jackie Stewart. The team won 23 Grands Prix, 18 of which were in Stewart's name.

Benetton

Benetton drove 260 Grands Prix in F1 and managed 27 victories in that time. The team is best known for their flamboyant team boss Flavio Briatore and the strong years with Michael Schumacher in 1994 and 1995. In 1995, the team also won their first and only world title in F1. Under this name, the team drove their last GP in 2001.

Renault

Benetton's predecessor and successor is one place above the team in the rankings: Renault. The team, which now races in F1 under the name Alpine, won 35 Grands Prix. Alain Prost and Fernando Alonso scored the most wins on behalf of Renault, and Alonso even won four titles with Renault in 2005 and 2006.

Brabham

Just as many victories but fewer Grands Prix. That is why Brabham, named after founder Jack Brabham, rank seventh. Brabham also won 35 Grands Prix in Formula 1. Jack himself won races with his own team, but with Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet and Denny Hulme, there are more world champions on Brabham's record. Brabham (1966), Hulme (1967) and Piquet (1981 and 1983) actually won a title with the team.

Lotus

It's a big step to the team in sixth as Lotus won 81 Grands Prix. The team were especially strong between 1960 and 1980. In those two decades, they won seven world titles as a constructor and six with the drivers. Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Jochen Rindt, Emerson Fittipaldi and Mario Andretti won their titles with Lotus. The team drove their last GP in 2015.

Williams

Williams are (currently) in fifth place. Williams are still active in F1 under the name of founder sir Frank Williams. The British team have won nine world titles as a constructor. Their last victory dates from 2012, when Pastor Maldonado won the Spanish Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing have recently moved into fourth place. The team has only been competing in F1 since 2005 and has already won 117 Grands Prix. A winning percentage of more than 30 per cent. Red Bull won six world titles in the constructors and seven in drivers. Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen are the ones who won the most victories for the team.

Mercedes

Mercedes ranks third in this list and has the highest winning percentage due to their short history in the sport. Mercedes has only been active in 16 F1 seasons, reaching 293 Grands Prix. In those, it was very successful, though. In the early years with Juan Manual Fangio, and some sixty years later with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Mercedes has a total of 125 victories, giving it a winning percentage of 42.7%.

McLaren

It's another big leap to second on the list. McLaren, founded by Bruce McLaren in 1966, has already competed in 946 Grands Prix. They won no fewer than 183 races, resulting in eight world titles among constructors. The team also won 12 world titles among drivers, with big names like Lauda, Prost, Ayrton Senna and Mika Hakkinen.

Ferrari

The team with the most Grands Prix and also most victories in Formula 1 is Ferrari. The team of founder Enzo Ferrari entered the first official Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1950 and has never missed one since. Ferrari have completed more than 1000 Grands Prix and recorded 244 victories. Ferrari won 16 titles among constructors and 15 among drivers.

The last world title was won in 2007 by Kimi Raikkonen. The most successful period for the team was between 1999 and 2005, when it won six world titles in a row in constructors and five in drivers with Michael Schumacher.
