Visa Cash App RB F1 Team - or VCARB - are hoping for a better season than 2023, although the Italian team were still competing in Formula 1 under the name AlphaTauri at the time. Steps forward can be made because VCARB will not be able to use parts designed and used by Red Bull Racing as much as possible for the new car. The sister team had the fastest car on the grid for the past two seasons, and VCARB hope to take at least some of the speed.
Parts of Red Bull Technology
Visa Cash App RB have shared some specifications. Like Red Bull Racing, VCARB will once again be able to have the powerful Honda RBPTH002 power unit and RBPT exhaust in 2024. The chassis must be designed by F1 teams themselves (which has obviously been done), but the front suspension will come from Red Bull Technology (RBT). The rear suspension also comes from RBT.
The steering wheel and gearbox also come from Red Bull Technology. The braking system is partly made by RBT and partly by VCARB. Visa Cash App RB made the front and rear brake ducts in-house. VCARB also developed and made the petrol system.
According to the team, the VCARB 01 weighs 798 kilos, which is exactly the minimum prescribed weight.
