Mercedes have presented the new Formula 1 car that Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will compete with during the 2024 Formula 1 season. The livery differs from last year's, although the car remains predominantly black. Interestingly, the silver arrows have made a partial return, much to the delight of many Mercedes fans. While black (especially the unpainted carbon) is currently the trend in F1, Mercedes have actually chosen to add more colour to the new car. Whereas last year the German team opted for an almost entirely black car, the classic silver has now made a reappearance.
The car, which was originally silver when the Brackley-based team joined the other teams on the grid, have brought back the original colours and combined them with the black of recent years. In addition, more red accents have been added, a colour also seen on the car in previous years.
