Ford are said to have sent a letter to Red Bull regarding the investigation into Christian Horner, who is being investigated for inappropriate behaviour. This has been reported by the Financial Times. The letter is said to include that Ford wants the investigation to be finished as soon and as complete as possible. Ford would still have an option to pull out.
A letter from Ford to Red Bull
A private letter sent by the US car manufacturer to Red Bull Racing urged it to be fully transparent about the allegations towards the team boss. The investigation into Horner is being led by an external and specialised lawyer. In the letter, Ford did not put pressure to come to any particular decision but did say that Ford hopes the investigation will be completed soon.
Ford will be Red Bull Racing's engine supplier from 2026. Of course, an investigation like Horner's will not go easy on sponsors and future collaborations either. Ford still have an option to pull out. Despite the investigation, Horner is in Bahrain for the F1 tests.
