Can Red Bull become invicibles? 'It's too early for that'
During Red Bull Racing's dominant season last year, the Austrian constructor failed to win just one race out of the entire Formula 1 calendar. Out of a total of 22 races, Red Bull managed to win 21. Sergio Perez was able to add two wins to his record, and Max Verstappen finishind first the remaining 19.
Only in Singapore did Red Bull fail to win, when Sainz beat Verstappen and Perez on the Marina Bay Circuit. Whether it will manage to become undefeated constructors' champion this season remains to be seen. Visa Cash App RB driver Daniel Ricciardo also questions this, but does expect good performances from Verstappen and Perez.
Ricciardo on Red Bull's chances
"They've brought a new car to the season and I'm sure it's still going to be a race winning car. It's too early to be that sure that it's going to be as dominant as last year. Are they going to win races? I'm sure they will," Ricciardo explained.
Turning an unbeaten season is then another step harder. The Australian doubts that is possible. "I wouldn't go as far as saying yet that it's going to be unbeatable, I think. Formula 1 is too unpredictable to be unbeatable. So I think they'll do very well, but yeah, too early to have that confidence."
