Hamilton must report to the stewards after incident with Sargeant
Lewis Hamilton must report to the stewards for the incident with Logan Sargeant. The Briton obstructed the American, creating a dangerous situation.
FIA documents show that Hamilton will have to report to the stewards at 21:30 local time. Logan Sargeant will also have to turn up to give his side of the story. Sargeant was hugely hampered in a fast run and had to swerve over a high kerb.
Hamilton was not the only one to cause hair-raising moments during the session. On the street circuit in Jeddah, danger is always lurking. Later in the session, for instance, George Russell was almost pushed into the wall by Yuki Tsunoda. For now, the incident between Hamilton and Sargeant is the only moment also under investigation by the stewards.
