On Friday in Saudi Arabia, Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen managed to hold off the competition by a whopping three-tenths. He will, therefore, definitely start the race from first place. The rest of the field was a lot closer together. Charles Leclerc will start from second place with his Ferrari. Verstappen's teammate Sergio Perez will be looking to see what he can do from third place at the Grand Prix he managed to win last year.
All eyes were on rookie Oliver Bearman during qualifying. Replacing Carlos Sainz, who had to undergo appendix surgery, the Briton had only enjoyed one free practice session before he was due to qualify. In the end, the 18-year-old missed Q3 by a few thousandths. He will start the race from 11th position.
