Helmut Marko was once again very happy with Red Bull’s result in Saudi Arabia. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were flawless, as the two earned a one-two finish at Jeddah.

"It's amazing and we are really happy. Both drivers had a fantastic race. The car is also outstanding, Everything works. The strategy, also the pit stops and the tyre wear. Two races with a one-two. It's a big achievement," Red Bull’s advisor summed up the race to Viaplay.

'I don’t mind if it stays like this'

Asked about the rest of the Grands Prix this season, Marko hopes Red Bull can continue to win races like the way they did in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. "I wouldn't mind. But OK, there's been two different tracks. But I have to say the tyre wear was higher than we expected, especially with the hard tyre. I hope, but I don't believe that it will go on like that."

The advisor continued: "You see that Ferrari is coming closer and here overtaking was very difficult. That's why I don't see the same result in Melbourne or China and Suzuka. But, I believe we have a car that is strong and that's necessary because we want to have a fourth title for Max. That's what we are going for."

Helmut Marko has said he will be in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix, which is next on the F1 schedule. After qualifying, he suggested he might be suspended as part of the ongoing Red Bull saga, but the advisor ended those doubts ahead of the race in Jeddah.
