Hill: 'Dominance of Verstappen causes this problem at Red Bull'

Currently, Red Bull Racing combined with Max Verstappen are an insanely dominant duo. F1 world champion Damon Hill sees a problem for the team in this period of dominance.
As in the 2023 season, Red Bull Racing look like they will continue their dominance. Last season, the Austrian racing team won 21 out of 22 races. Red Bull have also won the first two races of the current season. This high number of wins is mainly due to Max Verstappen.
Red Bull may lose motivation
Damon Hill thinks this dominance could yet become a problem for the team. "It’s nice when you’ve got a one-two to start off your season and your Constructors’ Championship, so the team feels great. The funny thing is, though, that it’s quite difficult to get that striving emotion," the world champion told F1 Nation.
"When you come second or you get beaten, you don’t like it, so you want to change that situation. There’s a lot of motivation to change," the Briton continued. It seems this is not yet happening at the Austrian racing team at the moment. Indeed, Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner had already indicated at the end of last year that Verstappen's motivation is good in any case.
