Steiner responds to Horner case: 'It would be better for all concerned'
Guenther Steiner argues that it would be good for all parties if Christian Horner's future is clarified soon. According to the former Haas team boss, it will remain unsettled at Red Bull Racing until then.
In an ABC News video ahead of the Australian Grand Prix weekend, Steiner is asked about the Horner situation. "In the higher ranks of the company there will be some people rethinking what they want to do. I don't think it's as easy as it looks to say 'oh this guy was wrong or this woman was wrong'. I don't know," the Italian said.
Horner's future at Red Bull Racing
"I just don't know. I hope that for the sake of Formula One they get over it. They not we because we cannot do anything. They put an end to it and make a decision whatever it is, then we move on. I think it's also better for all the people involved," said the former Haas team boss.
Whether that clarity will come soon remains to be seen. After his rally in Belgium, Jos Verstappen revealed that he doubts things will calm down quickly around the team. While Jos hopes that calm will indeed return soon, Max Verstappen's father confirmed that there is indeed a power struggle at Red Bull Racing and that is not solved quickly.
