Albon may not be able to compete in Australian Grand Prix

During the first free practice session in Australia, Alexander Albon crashed his Williams hard into the wall. This may mean only one Williams car can compete in Sunday's Grand Prix. Who gets that single car is not yet confirmed.
Albon went too wide in turn six during FP1, resulting in the Thai-Brit hitting the wall. His Williams, including the engine and gearbox, has extensive damage. During the second free practice session, Albon's car was also being worked hard on.
'Williams not carrying spare chassis'
The Williams team confirmed to GPblog that they have no spare chassis in Melbourne. They're checking if repairs are possible. If the car cannot be repaired overnight, the team will have to choose who will compete in the only available Williams at the Australian Grand Prix.
