Vasseur refuses to answer question on Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari: it seemed unreal, but it is really going to happen. Carlos Sainz will have to make way for the seven-time world champion from 2025. Since it was announced that the Spaniard would have to leave the team, he has been performing better. And that while Hamilton did not start that strongly. Many people also question whether Ferrari has made the right decision, but Vasseur has no desire to answer that question again.

Surely it's a bit of a shock for Ferrari fans. Hamilton is disappointing so far in 2024. The Briton has not beaten his teammate, George Russell, once this season. And that while Sainz is doing incredibly well. The Spaniard has featured in only three of the four races, but in every one he has taken a podium. In Australia, he even won the Grand Prix.

Sainz's future is unlikely to be something to worry about. Multiple teams are currently keeping an eye on the Spaniard. Red Bull Racing is also watching the triple race winner with a slanted eye, team boss Christian Horner told reporters after the Australian Grand Prix.

Vasseur does not answer question about Hamilton

After the Japan Grand Prix, Vasseur was asked whether in an alternative world, where Hamilton had not yet signed for Ferrari, he would have made a different decision. The team boss responded clearly: "You will have the same question each weekend. I do a copy-paste of my reply and I'll send it to you. Next one!"
