Hamilton upset with the W15: 'So slow'
Lewis Hamilton is having a tough Chinese Grand Prix so far. The British driver started the race from P18 on the grid, and his is not happy with how his car works in the traffic.
After the race start, Hamilon has already pointed out why he thinks Mercedes' strategy is not working. He began the race on the soft tyres, and already during Lap 2, he said: "I'm making no ground wit this tyre."
Ahead of the virtual safety car, while behind an Alpine now on mediums, the seven-time world champion once again voiced his frustration. "I can't even catch him, mate. This car is so slow."
His main problem is with the balance, he underlined: "The car is just sliding around everywhere. I don't know, it just feels like something is broken. It's probably just this balance. It's really bad."
After finishing in P2 in the Sprint, Hamilton only qualified in P18 for the Grand Prix, and after a second pit stop under the virtual safety car, he is running in P13 behind the safety car.
