Verstappen hyped after Chinese Grand Prix: 'Doesn't happen often'
Max Verstappen has won the Chinese Grand Prix for the first time. The Dutchman dominated the Grand Prix and was not troubled by two safety cars. Verstappen reacts after the race to his fourth win this season.
"It felt amazing. The whole weekend, we were incredibly quick. Just enjoyable to drive on every compound. We survived the restarts well and the car was basically on rails and I could do whatever I wanted with it. Those kind of weekends are amazing to feel, and to achieve what we did this weekend is fantastic," Verstappen revealed in a conversation with Nico Rosberg.
How Verstappen reacted after the Chinese Grand Prix
Verstappen reported in the closing stages that he drove over debris on the track. "You hear all these noises and I've had it before when I've retired close to the end. There was some debris from a car I drove past it at 300 km/h. When those tyres are cold it's easy to get a puncture. I wanted to double check."
The next Grand Prix is the one in Miami and Rosberg was curious if Verstappen is already looking forward to that. ''Normally that's a good race for us. It's a bit easier in terms of strategy, but it's a quite difficult track. It'll be a busy one."
