Horner disagrees with Verstappen: 'Is about the collective'
Max Verstappen's wishes are clear: if the important people at Red Bull Racing stay, he will stay too. But it is never a certainty that everyone will stay with the Austrian team. However, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner believes the departure of one or two individuals is not a disaster.
A little calmness seems to have returned within Red Bull. However, there are still many rumours surrounding a possible departure of Verstappen. Mercedes are very interested in welcoming the Dutchman to the team, and team boss Toto Wolff has already expressed several times that he would like Verstappen to join them.
Horner disagrees with Verstappen
Despite this, Verstappen seems to be sticking to his position for now. However, there are many rumours surrounding the possible departure of key technical people within Red Bull. Despite this, Horner has little concern: "I mean, we've always had evolution in our team. Nothing stays still forever. We've had tremendous continuity."
Horner continued: "There's many, many engineers and designers that we've had, always had tremendous stability. But, of course, it's not just about one or two individuals. It's about the collective."
