McLaren CEO Zak Brown is very happy with the peace and stability his team, McLaren, have at the moment. The driver market is still completely open at the moment with many teams still looking for drivers and the other way around, many drivers are also still looking for a seat.

The big news of the past week is that Adrian Newey is about to leave Red Bull Racing. In addition, with the turmoil currently going on in the team, it remains to be seen whether Max Verstappen will stay with the team. During the ePrix in Monaco, McLaren CEO Zak Brown will be a guest to support his electric team.

Brown happy with stability

Speaking to several international media, he expresses his delight at his team's performance at the moment. "We’re trying to play a part in the silly season, but we’re just not part of it," Brown joked. "I think one of the things that I'm trying to do is bring stability, visibility and longevity to all of our racing team."

Everything is going according to plan at McLaren, unlike the chaos at play at some other F1 teams. "We’re in a great position. The Formula 1 team, we know who our drivers are, we know our team principal. We have our new technology in, we’ve got great sponsors. So I think at a time where you've got some teams destabilised, not sure who's going to drive [where], engine changes and things of that nature, I think we're pretty strong position looking forward," Brown said.
