The arrival of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari in 2025 means Carlos Sainz will have to leave the Italian team at the end of the season. The Spaniard does not yet have a seat for next year, but he reportedly has offers from several teams. His manager, Carlos Onoro, has given an update on how contract negotiations are progressing.

Carlos Sainz's performances have made him an extremely sought-after driver this 'silly season'. He has mainly been linked with Audi, but he says he is talking to multiple F1 teams.

Sainz's contract negotiations are still ongoing

His manager, Carlos Onoro, has given an update on the F1 Nation podcast on how things currently stand with the Spaniard's contract negotiations. He was asked about who he had been talking to, to which he replied, “A few (Teams), a few. Let’s say it’s an interesting period of time at the moment.
“The driver market has been all over the place lately and I think we will see some movement in the upcoming weeks. But, for the moment, the juggling continues.”

He is also asked if there will be any news about the Spaniard's future before the next race, to which he replies firmly: “No, no, no. You can sleep well between China and Miami, don’t worry.” “There will be no big news, at least coming from us – for sure not. We’re still playing the game, so we’ll see.”

For now, it doesn't look like there will be an update on Sainz's future any time soon...
