Perez presents new helmet and is ready for Miami GP: 'Feel at home here'
The sixth Grand Prix of the Formula 1 season, the one in Miami, is just around the corner. On Thursday, the drivers kick off with the traditional media day and from Friday onwards, it is racing time. Sergio Perez is happy to be back in Florida, where a sprint weekend awaits him. The Mexican, who will also have a special helmet next weekend, details his findings.
Perez looks ahead to next weekend in the United States
Once again this season, Red Bull are the most dominant constructor on the track. Max Verstappen is first in the world championship and Perez follows in second. In the constructors' championship, Red Bull is 44 points ahead of Ferrari. At the Miami Grand Prix, this gap could widen. Perez looks ahead to the sprint weekend.
"It’s another Sprint event, which makes things very tricky in terms of getting the set-up in the car perfect but we learnt a lot in China about how to maximise our time. It’s set to be another hot weekend in Miami, which brings challenges as drivers physically but we will aim to overcome everything thrown at us and come out on top."

"We are back in Miami again and it’s always nice to be in Florida. I feel really at home here, the South American and LATAM following for me is crazy and I feel a lot of love from all the fans, wherever I am in Miami. To celebrate that I have a special helmet for this race, honouring all the countries I feel special sense of support from."
