This is the official starting grid for the 2024 Miami Grand Prix
Max Verstappen starts the Miami Grand Prix from pole position. As in the sprint race, Verstappen has Charles Leclerc by his side on the front row of the grid. See the final starting grid for the Miami GP here.
Verstappen was fastest during Saturday's qualifying, although the Dutchman was not entirely happy with the balance of his RB20. Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will hope to take advantage of that. Sergio Perez starts from fourth place, just ahead of the McLaren drivers. Perez was two tenths slower than his teammate in qualifying.
George Russell and Lewis Hamilton are also further back than expected. The two Brits should still try to make something of the race with their Mercedes from the fourth row of the grid. Daniel Ricciardo went from hero to zero very quickly. After finishing fourth in the sprint race, the Australian has to start the GP from last place.
