Wolff lashes out at Red Bull CEO Mintzlaff: 'No idea what the guy means'

Max Verstappen may have a contract with Red Bull Racing until the end of 2028, but both his current team and Mercedes seem willing to fight for the three-time world champion. This leads to a war of words back and forth. Now this is taking place between Toto Wolff and Red Bull boss Oliver Mintzlaff.
Wolff refutes Red Bull CEO over Verstappen
Mintzlaff claimed to be done with Wolff's meddling, who has been openly flirting with Verstappen since unrest arose around Red Bull team boss Christian Horner in February. The Red Bull chief believes Wolff has enough of his own problems to worry about.
Faced with those statements, Wolff reacted sharply. "I don't know what the guy means at all. Therefore it is unnecessary to comment on that," said the Mercedes team boss. He does have something to say about Mintzlaff's statement that it is "one thousand percent certain" that Verstappen will stay at Red Bul.
"1,000 per cent? I wouldn't make such a statement. Because in life there is only 100 per cent. There is no more. It is redundant," said Wolff, who was not dissatisfied after the Miami Grand Prix. "It was a strong race for us. In the end, we were faster than Perez on mediums. I am happy with Lewis' performance. George had no grip on the hard tyre. Anyway, it was a solid performance. I like the way we did it, even if the result is not satisfactory."
