Who is Harry Benjamin?

Harry Benjamin is a commentator, podcaster, and presenter who has done many voiceovers. He predominantly works in motorsport. Benjamin was born in London and has been involved in Formula 1 since 2021.

According to his website, he is 6 feet 5 inches tall and boasts a 16 shoe size! Benjamin previously trained as an actor and starred in the West End. He changed careers into broadcasting and joined Formula 1 in 2021.

He joined as the lead commentator for Formula 2, Formula 3, and Porsche Super Cup. The Brit started commenting on Formula 1 for BBC Radio Five Live in 2023 and remains the lead commentator when not working for Sky Sports. Benjamin was also part of the Sky Kids broadcast during the 2023 Formula 1 season. Benjamin helped the youngsters commentate and present the coverage.

Benjamin is just the second person to lead the commentary on Sky Sports during a Grand Prix. David Croft's 100% attendance record since Sky took the rights in 2012 ended in Imola. He is missing this race after he got married last weekend.

When will David Croft be back?

Croft will return to the commentary box at the Singapore Grand Prix, and he is scheduled to complete the rest of the season.
