With the contract extension of Pierre Gasly and Lance Stroll, two more seats have been filled on the 2025 F1 grid. View the full overview of the drivers who have a contract for the 2025 F1 season here.

11 drivers are assured of a spot on the 2025 F1 grid. Max Verstappen even has a contract until 2028. Most drivers who have a contract for 2025 have a multi-year deal. George Russell is the only one of the ten drivers who is committed until 2025.

Of the other nine places, the most coveted is the seat at Mercedes. A replacement must be found for Lewis Hamilton. In addition, there is also a lot of talk about the seats at Stake (which will become Audi in 2026), Alpine and Haas. It seems obvious who will take a seat next to Fernando Alonso at Aston Martin, with Lance Stroll as the son of the team's owner.
