After the turmoil at Red Bull Racing, a period of calm seems to be at hand. Helmut Marko, advisor at the Austrian racing stable, has told Kronen Zeitung that he has reached a truce with Horner.

Has peace returned to Red Bull?

Things have been restless within Red Bull Racing since the start of the Formula 1 season. This started with the investigation of alleged inappropriate behavior of Christian Horner. However, that investigation turned out to be just the tip of the iceberg, of a power struggle that had been going on behind the scenes for some time.

Yet it seems as if calm has returned. "We have concluded a truce," Marko told the Austrian Kronen Zeitung. A truce only does not mean peace, but that both sides will not attack each other for a certain period of time.

The men plan to join forces to compete with McLaren and Ferrari. Indeed, the two teams are getting closer and closer to the Austrian racing stable. "Even though we are no longer superior, we want to win," Marko said. "We want to get the most out of it and look at the world title." Red Bull still lead Ferrari by 24 points in the standings.
