Verstappen and Norris laugh at duel in Canada

Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and George Russell sat in the cooldown room to look back on the race. With the footage included, the pair exchanged quite a few comments about the race.

Verstappen and Norris appear first on screen while Russell is still on his way to the green room. The Briton was last to have his interview. Verstappen and Norris meanwhile watch the start, with Verstappen pointing out that there was a puddle of water on the inside of the corner.

Then comes the moment on screen of Norris coming out of the pits. "You pushed very hard here," Verstappen said to his friend. Norris indeed pushed hard and goes 'aaahhhh' as he looks back at his moment of upset. "For the fans," joked Norris, who lost the race lead at that moment.

The moment Russell walks in, the image shows Sergio Perez flying backwards into the wall. It reminds Norris of a 2011 moment and calls out 'Seb Vettel', referring to the German who once went through the grass there. The damage to the Red Bull does not appear on screen.

Next up is the duel between Oscar Piastri and George Russell. Norris calls it a good fight while Verstappen looks wide-eyed at Russell. Next, the men see Russell lose a place to his teammate: "Did you overtake him again?" asks Verstappen in surprise. Then the audio from the green room is closed to viewers.
