Despite having a slower start to the Formula One season, Valtteri Bottas has been excelling off the race-track in another sport: cycling. The Finn, who is yet to score a point with Sauber F1 this season has been having great success at recent cycling events he has participated in. Across the weekend, he has been hosting his own event in Finland, and on Saturday evening, he shared the final results.

After the event concluded, Bottas shared the double victory for him and his girlfriend, pro-cyclist Tiffany Cromwell on X: "My first gravel race win today at the FNLD GRVL 114km lakes course. Hero is @tiffanycromwell won the women's 177km race." Bottas had been posting throughout the week about the event, encouraging others to sign up and join him for the weekend. The Finn has been having great cycling success recently, finishing second in the Unbound Gravel 100 cycling event at the start of the month.

Cromwell also shared the news on her Instagram and thanked everyone who joined them at the event they co-organised. She also hinted that the event will return next year.
