Stroll extends contract at Aston Martin with multi-year deal

After Pierre Gasly, Lance Stroll has also extended his contract on the Thursday ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix. He has signed a multi-year deal with Aston Martin's team.
Stroll has been with the team for a long time now. The Canadian came to Racing Point in 2019. He has now completed more than 150 races in F1, including three podiums and a pole position.
Aston Martin confirm line-up
Stroll's contract extension also means that Aston Martin's driver line-up for next season has already been determined. Earlier this year, Fernando Alonso extended his contract. The Spaniard signed a contract until 2026.
The details of Stroll's contract are not fully known. The man who has one pole position has signed a contract for 2025 and beyond. It seems that Aston Martin has at least assured him of a seat in 2026. That year will be extra important because Honda will then join the team as an engine supplier.
