Jos Verstappen will not drive during the Legends Parade in Austria after all. According to Max Verstappen's father, Christian Horner, tried to prevent this, and Jos is completely done with it.

Jos Verstappen was planned to drive the RB8 at the Red Bull Ring. This would be Max's father's first time back in an F1 car, and he was given the chance by Red Bull Racing. However, speaking to De Telegraaf, Verstappen Sr. reveals that he has decided not to get into that car this weekend after all.

Verstappen angry at Horner

"Over the past few days I have heard from several sources that Christian Horner has done everything he can to not let me drive. And to otherwise make sure nothing would be filmed. Then I think: Say it to my face. This is not the way it has to be for me, I find it very disappointing," Jos Verstappen revealed in the Austrian paddock.

It is yet another clash between Jos Verstappen and Christian Horner since the start of 2024. Jos Verstappen also called for the Red Bull team principal's resignation this season after an investigation of the Briton began. Since then, there seemed to be a ceasefire, but that now seems to be over again.
