Nico Hulkenberg was not happy with those around him in FP1. The German was angry with fellow drivers due to congestion on the circuit. When Charles Leclerc passed him, the Haas driver, who will be moving to Sauber next year, drove alongside the Monegasque and threw his hand up at him due to his erratic movement.

'All these crybabies'

"I aborted but I didn't know the Ferrari was on a lap," Hulkenberg said after the close call on Radio. "Watch for Verstappen on a lap," replied his race engineer, Gary Gannon. Hulkenberg responded angrily, calling other drivers crybabies. "All these crybabies here with the traffic."

Hulkenberg will be hoping to score points for Haas this weekend. The American team were overtaken by Alpine in the constructor's championship after their double points finish in Spain. Haas currently sits in eight on seven points and Hulkenberg has scored six of those.
