Reaction Verstappen after sprint qualifying
"Great to be first here in front of basically my home fans, my home Grand Prix. It was a good day so far It's really been nice to drive the car. I think immediately the car was well balanced and then, of course, you make some little adjustments going into the sprint quali and everything has been working really well. So, a good start to the weekend. Still, of course, a lot of things to do, but I'm happy with today," Verstappen said.
Lando Norris will start alongside the Dutchman in the sprint race. The Briton has been Verstappen's biggest rival in recent weeks, so it will be interesting at the start.
As such, Verstappen seems relaxed: "We'll find out tomorrow. I'm not really too stressed about it. I'm gonna enjoy my evening and we'll try again tomorrow."
